Hello, it’s me, your blog “October 27th.” I just wanted you to know I am feeling very lonely out here in the blogsphere watching all the other blogs zip past me with new and interesting information while I sit and dangle my legs in space, twiddling my dots and dashes, just waiting for someone, ANYONE, to notice me again. Sigh. It is a lonely world out here in the sphere, abandoned, wordless, pictureless. No one visits me anymore!!!!! Can I just ask? What have I done to deserve this?? Did I not get enough hits?? Was I not funny enough, opinionated enough, important enough?? Don’t you LIKE me??? Sniff sniff??? OMG….I have been tweeted and facebooked, and I-phoned away!!!! You love them more than me!! You are the parents!! You’re not supposed to pick favorites!!! Oh no!! Now what?? How will I ever win your favor back??? Change my name? Change my logo? Oh woe is me…okay…really…okay…, I need to get a grip.I will just slowly fade into forgotten blogdom like so many other blogs who tried and failed. Beaten by new technology. DAMN YOU NEW TECHNOLOGY!! Well, this is good-bye then I suppose…it was nice. really. Sob, snort, sniff, bawl, wail, gnash letters, fade into obscurity…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….hiccup.

I received this in my mailbox the other day…I figured I should probably address the situation.  The main thing I want to explain here is that the reason there haven’t been as many posts here is also one of the reasons this blog is around.  Let’s just say our amazing 16 month old boy isn’t a fan of any time Mommy spends on the computer.  So the Tweeting and Facebooking is all usually done on my phone…in very short increments.

Which brings us to our face lift.  We have decided to have October 27th work WITH our constant Twittering and Facebooking and Flickring

On Your right you will see the October 27th twitter.  A 24/7 stream of all things Elijah, Sherman, and Amanda!  If you don’t have a twitter account get one   And follow us!  This will also save all of my friends from hearing about every fart joke and crazy day Ijah has.  Although some don’t mind, I’m pretty sure others want to slap me, so I put it here instead!  Sherman has access to it too so that is a fun stream of info with the latest kiddo updates!

In the masthead on your right you will see new pictures!  Updated regularly changing occasionally!  If you hover over it you will see an option to click through the photos, and if you click on it it will tak you to our Flick r stream!  YAYAYAYAY pictures!

I’ll still post posts, and videos, and all sorts of great stuff, BUT the main thing here is that I can give updates and happy other things through my phone so the kiddo doesn’t try to chew my leg off as I write a witty tale about his resent visit to the hospital.
