Furniture mover.

Elijah has taken to crawling…or scooting…with a vengeance.  He loves it. He's already hard to keep track of.  But one of his favorite things by far is the foot stool.  Movable, chewable, peek-a-booable…what more could you ask for.

Baby food

Watching a baby eat was never something I enjoyed.  I’ve never been a person who found messy food faced babies cute.  Even with Elijah it can be a study in patience and just being present.  But thinking that he’s learning how to eat makes that all go away.

Opposition

During a long night of not sleeping I’ve come to realize that there’s an opposition aspect to being a parent. When you’re baby is asleep you tend to be awake trying to get stuff done. When you’re asleep your baby is awake trying to get stuff done. Like a sleeper-totter.
